BASIC JEWELRY CARE Gold Filled is perfect for everyday wear as it is water safe and tarnish resistant. Pearl and gemstone jewelry is NOT waterproof and should be removed before swimming, showering and exercising. Store your jewelry in an airtight container, sterling silver is best stored in a plastic bag to prevent tarnishing. Clean jewelry with a jewelry cloth after each wear. Avoid sleeping in jewelry as this can cause the jewelry to bend or even break. If you treat your jewelry gently, it will always look like new!
